1. Eligibility

• Attendees must be 18 years or older.

• ID may be required upon entry. No ID = no entry (no refund).

• Open to all individuals regardless of gender, race, sexuality, or background.

2. Code of Conduct

We want a safe, inclusive, and drama-free vibe. By attending, you agree to:

• Treat all guests, staff, and hosts with respect.

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour (as defined under the Human Rights Act 1993).

• Avoid aggressive, disruptive, or intoxicated behaviour.

• Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Alcohol service follows venue licensing laws.

Breach of this code may result in immediate removal without refund.

3. Matching & Interactions

• Matches are based on mutual interest via our match card system (or digital equivalent).

• We can’t guarantee matches, romantic success, or ongoing contact.

• Post-event contact between attendees is at your own discretion and risk.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Tickets are non-refundable, except if the organiser cancels the event.

• Name changes/transfers allowed up to 48 hours before the event (subject to approval).

• If we cancel or postpone, you’ll be offered a refund or credit.

• Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain. Any unauthorised resale may result in cancellation without refund.

5. Media & Privacy

• By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

• Photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes unless you opt out by telling us at the door.

• Any personal info collected will only be used for event coordination (e.g. match results) and won’t be shared without your consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, event concepts, materials, and processes used during Hey Stranger! events are the property of the organiser.
They may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. Health & Safety

• You may be required to comply with public health measures (e.g. masks, proof of vaccination, staying home if unwell).

• Entry may be refused if you show signs of illness or pose a safety risk.

8. Force Majeure (Sh*t Happens Clause)

We’re not liable for changes or cancellations caused by things outside our control, including natural disasters, venue damage, power outages, or public health emergencies.

9. Right to Refuse Entry

We may refuse or revoke entry for anyone who is:

• Visibly intoxicated

• Behaving inappropriately

• Failing to follow these Terms & Conditions

10. Venue Rules

• All guests must follow venue-specific rules, including alcohol service laws, smoking areas, and health & safety procedures.

11. Late Arrivals

Entry is not guaranteed after the scheduled start time. No refunds for late arrivals.
